Car description |

1950s MGs were the beginning of America's sports car interest. That was 70 years ago. Most TDs have had many changes. Mine is much as it came from the factory in 1952. That makes it unique.
If you have an MG interest I don't have to read you the basics. They are mechanically simple, not very fast and more fun than the proverbial barrel of monkeys. A 1952 TD was my first new car.
With this car's low miles you might think it has not been driven enough. The prior owner and I have driven it enough to assure reliability. It has had year to year progressive professional maintenance. It has one re-paint. It runs smoothly without the bumps and grinds you might expect from a seventy year old. Compression in all cylinders is in the mid 150s. That's remarkable.
I covered the wiper motor for safety and changed the 16" steering wheel to 13" for ease of entry. Trust the pictures. I took them. Happy to answer all questions including what I paid for this beauty two years ago. Hagerty has the insurance. I have the keys. Come and get it. Dave Pyle 713 703 1207
