Here is a barn find 1964 MG Midget Roadster. Probably built late 63 or early 64 it has the roadster body with side curtains. Rare color combination, Black with red interior and red/white seats. The body is in decent shape for 55 years old, minimal rust, front floor pans have been replaced completely, rust hole in the trunk above the exhaust. The wheels are disc with the Mercury trim rings and MG Hubcaps. This car has 1098ccd engine with the factory SUs, Ribcase factory 4sp transmission, 1/4 eliptic rear axle housing and leaf springs, front disc brakes. This is the last of the Midget MKI cars. The engine runs, I hooked an electric fuelpump to the carbs from a gas can and with the choke pulled all the way it ran well for several minutes, no noises and good oil pressure. The brake system will need to be completely gone through, I have two complete good used callipers that go with the car, The rear brakes will need cylinders shoes and hardware. The master cylinder needs replacement along with the two line, the clutch slave will need rebuilt or replacement. All the hydrolic components are less than $200 on Ebay. The gas tank will need boiled out or replaced along with the mechanical fuel pump. These repairs would get the car driving along with carb work and tuneup. This car is a worthy restoration project. The title is from Florida and was issued in 1992 vin number isGAN2L23643, this car has been off the road for at least 20 years. If there are any questions or to discuss a buy it now price I can be reached at 770-258-3351 OH there is an identical 1963 car on Ebay right now for $17,900.00. Thanks for looking Gene.
