The MG had been primarily owned by a long time older British Car enthusiast that had used it as his weekend driver. The MG was originally from Arizona and was brought to Michigan some years ago. It has always been garage stored and only used on nice days. Fitted with the rare OEM Rostyle wheels.
Mechanicallythe MG is in excellent condition. It has been recently been recently serviced by a British Car Specialist to make sure it is ready to be enjoyed by the next owner.

The following work has just been done:
New coolant hoses.Carb adjustment.Brakes gone through including new Brake MC and Hand Brake adjustment.Oil Change.Full Exhaust System.New Voltage Regulator
The MG drives great and the 1275 has plenty of power. Brakes work fine including the emergency brake. Clutch and gearbox are in good condition with no issues. As noted, the voltage regulator was replaced due to the MG not charging properly. It seems that it will also need the generator repaired because the light on the dash is still on, indicating that it is still not charging. Tires are in good condition and are a matched set. The ignition switch is a little bit finicky and requires you to push in on the key as you turn the key.
TheInteriorwas completely redone as shown in the pictures. Being that it was from Arizona, the owner chose to have the interior light grey instead of black due to the extreme heat. The seats were done in a cloth material which is common for the Arizona heat. The dash was recovered as well, and the quality of the work is quite impressive. The carpet was replaced as well. At the same time a custom convertible top was made which is in new condition. The convertible top frame was restored as well. All of the gauges are in working condition. Has an aftermarket radio with speakers in the rear as shown in the pictures. Blinkers, lights, wipers are all in good operating condition. Heater fan does not seem to be working.
Thebodyis in very nice condition and has been well preserved. It presents very nicely and gets compliments all the time. The paint finish looks good and there are no door dings. There is the normal nicks that you would expect from a vintage sports car that is 50 years old. There are a few spots that have been touched up as well. The body is pretty much rust free with the exception of the edge of the hood which is a common problem on Midgets. There is also a spot on the hood where it looks like someone made an opening to open a stuck hood. It was filled and is shown in the pictures. There is also a spot on the fender that has some bubbling as shown in the picture. Although the MG came from Arizona, the floors show evidence of being repaired. The repair shows that the floors were reinforced and is completely solid. Front and rear bumpers in excellent condition. The trunk is solid with no evidence of rust or damage. Body is extremely straight. Wheel arches are very nice as well.

ONCE AGAIN....A "LOW RESERVE AUCTION"!
