1969 MGCGT ( LAST OWNED FOR 28 YEARS )

1969 MGCGT 6 cylinder "3 Litre", Owned by an elderly man for 28 years from Hacienda Heights California. Always garage kept. Since it was sitting for many years without being driven, We had to perform a minor service to get her up and running again. We drained and flushed the fuel system. Replaced both batteries, Brake master cylinder kit, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, and replaced older brake fluid with new Castrol synthetic Dot 4 brake fluid. Reverse gear seems to be slipping a bit. Although I have driven it three or four miles, and around the block, I would recommend a full service to get her roadworthy. These cars are pretty fast, with plenty of power!!! The underside is perfect, I have been under it personally, No rust!!!! Excellent shut lines and gapping.Very straight body, however the front drivers side inner front fender has some minor wrinkling due to a minor accident that took place at some point in her life. It is nothing serious, and can easily be adjusted by a body man. There are a couple of minor dents caused by something falling on the roof of the car while it was in garage storage (I have enclosed a picture of this). The Paint is in drivers condition; original color was "British Racing Green" All chrome is detailed and in very good condition. Glass is in good shape. Beautiful front chrome grill and headlight fit. The car has 72 spoke wire wheels. Interior is in very good condition, no rips, tight headliner, good door panels. The dash has a couple of cracks, but overall very nice. I have radio, but its not fitted at the moment. The only working gauge is the tachometer. Odometer is showing 44,304 miles. Rear trunk is in perfect condition, comes with spare tire, jack and tools. I have a MGCGT owners manual as well. Only 9,002 MGCGT's were produced. This is a special opportunity to own a unique classic!!!
