Car description

Welcome to ourEbay Store!!

1979 MG MidgetBarn Find!! Low Miles!!Been sitting in storage since 1996!
VIN No. GAN6UL218662GMileage: 29,985
This was a two owner car. Car was purchased by second owner in 1992.He did not title car until 1980.When he purchased car it has 27,770 miles on it.Only stuck 2,215 miles on it!!!
Car was placed in storage in 1996. See photo of car on how I originally purchased it.Car was in sealed garage. Had to remove doors to get it out!Car had 4 flat tires, all had holes in them.
Removed tires, and wheels, cleaned and painted, and put 4 used tires on so it can roll out.Gave car a quick bath, little bit of Armor All and she cleaned right up!
Body is exceptionally clean. No rust in floors!Look underneath some paint is pealing from floors.Still very solid!Trunk is solid, frame rails are solid.Owner had purchased two new outer rocker panels, never installed. Included in sale (See Photos)One was still in the box, and one was outside of box. Does have some surface rust.
Look at dash. No cracks!Gauges look good, and seats are nice!Original spare tire, never used.Original Jack, Jack Bag, and Lug Wrench assembly included.Original Tonneau Cover and Bag included. Never Used!Has convertible top boot bag as well. Please note, this car does have a convertible top, and frame assembly under top boot. Top will need to be replaced. Has some rips, and back window is bad.

We did try to turn engine over by hand. It did not turn.Removed spark plugs, and added some penetrating oil.Transmission shifts in all gears.Brake and clutch pedal did move; BUT Hydraulic system SHOULD be gone through.
Owner told us he drove the car into the garage one day, and became ill the following year, and never drove the car again.
Please take the time to study all photos well. We have lots of photos to look at.
If you are looking for a MG Midget to restore, THIS is the ONE!!!Perfect Pumpkin Orange Color!!
