This 1974 MGB Chrome Bumper came from an Estate recently and was off the road for several years. Car was only started and driven in and out of garage. Car was owned for many years ( as seen by Purple plate ) by older gentleman, garage kept and maintained as a driver. Engine runs strong with great oil pressure even at normal temp as seen in photo. Engine is super quiet, no tapping noises, etc. Car shifts and downshifts perfectly. Drives straight with no rattles, or shakes. Tires are Vredstein and have excellent tread. Dash, door panels and console are good. Passenger seat excellent, drivers seat needs new cover.Still has the original rubber floor mat on passenger side, drivers is missing, but both after market floor mats are good. All electrics work as well as all gauges. Even the radio/cassette works, sounds just like a 70's radio! The engine compartment is pretty clean as seen in the pictures but could use a detailing. There are several photos of the under carriage showing no rust on the floors. the photos of the interior floors show a bit of surface rust on the drivers side and clean passenger side. The paint is OK for a driver and Teal is the original color. Trunk is rust free. The rockers are pretty solid but both dog legs had some work and will need attention in the future. There is some bubbling starting on the bottom of the front fenders. The brake pedal is mushy and will need immediate attention, however the car does stop and the ebrake works fine. I think the master needs rebuilt fro sitting. Top is good, windows need a good cleaning. There's a clear PA title with ID ready to transfer. I will assist in shipping as long as all arrangements are made well in advance. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is known to be for sale locally. I try to describe all my items the best I can so there are no surprises. I can be reached at 814-931-0627 with any questions. Thanks and bid away as the reserve is low for a chrome bumper in this condition. I also have a 75 MGB for sale on another auction.
