Time to move on to a new project.
Lots of upgrades, plenty of potential. Harder to find coupe/GT, very clean body. Undercarriage clean, no rot, very light/minimal surface rust from normal use (I refuse to call anything up here rust free 😂)
Paint is a half-hearted respray - the burgundy under is showing in some spots, the white with blue was an attempt at racing livery by the previous owner. A good coat of paint would do wonders for the lines.
Brand new upgraded alternator, starter, ignition system (coil, cap, rotor, wires, points, condenser)
Recent Klutch SL1 wheels with Kumho rubber
-Adjustable shocks front & rear
-negative camber a-arms
-a few spare front air dams, headers, front sway, various MGB parts/spares
Engine was rebuilt to stock specifications about 25k miles ago. Dual SU carbeurators.
May or may not need a head gasket. I have the kit if it needs it and would be happy to replace for the next owner if they would like to arrange that for a small additional cost.
I've owned 118 cars and this one is one of my favorites, but it's too small, loud and noisy for my wife or kids to ride in it, so I'm getting something a bit more...refined.
