This auction is for a very honest and solid 1973 MGB GT.
Car runs and drives very well. I bought as a car on my bucket list, love the car, but too many cars to keep it. I had always wanted one and this one did not dissapoint, great car with more potential.
I have put a few miles on it, has not failed me and been a blast to drive. I'll continue to drive until sold and as our Ohio weather allows.
I believe everything works as it should except the gas gauge.
Choke works and it starts right up everytime. All gauges and lights work except gas gauge.Filled tank and no leaks.Drives tight, handles and brakes very well.Looks to have new tires, battery, brakes, exhaust by previous owner(s)Was told engine was rebuilt, cannot confirm, but runs very well and smooth and looks very clean uner the hood.Clutch is perfect, very easy to drive and shift.Car sounds great and is a blast to take on windy country roads.
Bad:Gas gauge not workingNeeds some interior detailing, the color shows every blemish, but overall a good interior.Needs minor lower body panel patches on bottom of quarter/frnders where these are known to rust. Car looks extremely solid all over except for these arears. Don't let that scare you, this is a very nice car for the money and you can drive and enjot as is for years if need be. Its a great little classic car you do not see every day. Very rare coupe version of the popular MG convertible.
Good luck, love this little MGB GT.
Will assist with shipping. Can deliver for 1.00 a mile round trip or to your shippers location. Please verify this before bidding to ensure I can schedule, all depends on distance. Thanks!
