Here goes. This is a Pretty 1950 MG YT Perfect for the family man. Four seats to carry everyone or throw your clubs in the back seat. This was one of my dads last restorations and he had a little fun with it. Although an older restoration it still looks very nice and clean. The paint job is not flawless and the interior is not original but the rarity of the car still turns a lot of heads. Its a lot of fun to drive and tinker with. Its been taken down to the frame, cleaned, and painted. The new wide white walls give it an added touch of class. Although I haven't tried it yet the car has the hydraulic four wheel jacking system. The right hand drive came out of Australia and even found a few coins in the seats. Dad bought it sight unseen in Texas. It was supposed to be blue and at the upholstery shop but was a bad orange and never been upholstered. At some point someone bobbed the front fenders. Don't know why but I think just to make it look sportier. It still missing a few touches like the horn (I've got a couple) and constant tinkering like most of these cars. It has a top and side curtains but I would considered them for pattern purpose's only. Also has a toneu cover but again for pattern purpose. Really hate to see this one go but it's time. My dad is approaching 90 and my mother had a stroke last year, This is one of the last of many cars to go. Hope it brings a lot of enjoyment to someone else for many years to come.
