I have owned the car for 15 years. It was maintained first by Mike Goodman, the godfather of MG's in Southern California. Since Mike retired, the car has been maintained by Frank McClain Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Jaguar in Encino CA. Almost everything has been replaced except the rear end. McClain rebuilt the engine, per the before and after photos below. The transmission was rebuilt by Collins Classics MG in Burlingame CA. The interior with leather seats is an exact replica of the original, hand made by Joe Namnam who did all of Mike Goodman's restorations. Joe also the carpet, the inside door panels, the dash padding cover and the tonneau cover. The car always starts, the engine runs great with no smoke and good oil pressure, brakes and clutch work as they should. Everything electrical works perfectly except the clock. The car has the original fuel pump and electronic. It also has an electronic ignition and the original. Since this is aSouthernCalifornia car, the top and side curtains have never been used. They are in rough shape. The paint and chrome were part of a 1988 body off restoration, according to the English bloke I bought the car from. The paint glistens. Generally speaking, the car is more fun than you can possibly imagine.
