CALL IRWIN @ 786-517-7002 OR EMAIL Irwin47@aol.com WITH QUESTIONS OR OFFERS This is not just any MG Midget This car is far and away one of the nicest Original (one repaint) MG Midgets in existence. Most of these cars made it only to the junk heap, but this car was lovingly cared for all of its life. I purchased this car from the second owner, who had the car for many years! It spent most of its life in a climate controlled airplane hangar in Ocala, Florida, and was kept in impeccable mechanical and cosmetic condition. I can make you a promise: you'll be hard-pressed to pass another 1975 MG Midget on the road that is in better condition than this MG. I've enjoyed this MG and have driven it sparingly but enough to know how well it drives. This car is a stunning specimen. It is one the prettiest 42 year old cars that you will ever see. The paint on the car is a beautiful red color. The interior is in incredible condition. This color combination causes oohs and ahs everywhere it goes. The paint on the car shines beautifully, and the body is SO FLAWLESS that it is hard to believe that it is a 42 year old original vehicle. This car has drawn tremendous attention at local shows. It has won numerous awards at local shows. The interior of the car is very original. The door panels, seats, etc. look like new. The carpeting was replaced with a correct carpet kit purchased at Moss Motors. The correct rubber mats with the MG Logo has been covering both the drivers and passenger's carpet since it was replaced. People are always commenting on how unusual and striking the color combination looks. There is not a mark on any of the door panels. This car has one of the most unusual and beautiful dashboards ever made, and it is in excellent condition. It just doesn't get any nicer in a car of this vintage. The car runs superbly. The 1975 MG was equipped with a bigger 1493cc 4 cylinder engine. The engine is extremely quiet and purrs as it travels down the road at 60 mph. The 75 MG was able to squeeze out 100mph while going 0-60 in 12.5 seconds. This is one of the best engines ever made by MG and has most of its life still in front of it. It is a very low mileage car with only 53,000 documented original miles. The car runs beautifully and has NO TROUBLE with the synchro. This is a smaller car and would not work for those of you that still try to sneak extra people into the Drive-in theatre. However, the all chrome luggage rack looks great and adds extra cargo space for the car. Please check out all the close-up photos and look particularly down the sides of this car. Red can be an unforgiving color. But this is an absolutely straight, no-rust car. It has a beautiful, show condition trunk with the shiniest original floors that you will ever find in a MG Midget of this vintage. The engine compartment is excellent and up to show standards. This MG was maintained so well you can't believe that it is 42 years old. The chrome on the car shines beautifully. The overall bright work on the car is excellent. This car would score well at any local show. It's that nice. The brakes have been completely redone and the radial tires have very low miles on them. They LOOK brand new. The steel wire wheels have been recently powder coated in their original color and are perfect. HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE: The MG Midget has a wheel base of 80 inches. There were 72,185 MG Midget MK IV's units produced during the production run which lasted until 1979. The shipping weight was 1854 pounds and it had an original selling price of $3550.00. ABOUT THE SELLER: In real life I am a retired school principal. I have been collecting cars for over 40 years and collect only original low mileage cars that have been extremely well kept by previous owners. Collecting cars is a personal passion. The thrill of finding a well-preserved 42 year old car is unbeatable. THIS IS THAT KIND OF CAR. The car belongs to me. I am not an agent acting to sell someone else's car. The car is resting wonderfully in my garage. The above description is mine, not a third party's. If you have any questions, please contact me at 786-517-7002. ANY QUESTIONS?
