Car description

Round wheel arch, chrome bumper 1275 Midget which languished in a barn for many years. I have owned and driven it for 3 years. A complete turnkey little British convertible that turns heads any time I take it out. I have gone through this car and made it safe and comfortable to drive but it is not without some issues that need to be addressed--
Body:not a rust free car, but it's very restorable with the steel panels I will provide. No rust in the rockers or quarter panels. Mostly confined to the A pillar on the passenger side where a long-ago repair allowed moisture to sneak in behind filler. Some rust in the battery box and rearmost base of trunk. The hood is opened by an improvised cable through the front fascia, which keen observers will note comes from a later car. All lights operate as they should except for the turnsignals.
Trim/Chrome: Overall, quite good. Interior is serviceable for a driver. All gauges operate except for the speedo...a good used speedo drive comes with the car. The original floor was patched well with diamondplate and then covered with carpeting and padding. Glass is good but there is evidence of delamination and a handful of very tiny rock chips. Top is good, and you'll get an OEM boot to use when you go topless.
Mechanical:Car starts, runs, drives and maintains good oil pressure and idle. Fuel system, exhaust, brakes and rearend were all refreshed. However, you will need to invest in a front end rebuild which I can help you with. 1st gear is a littledifficult tohold in place. I have most of the core essential parts to do the front end and a spare gearbox to sell you. You will get more than what I can possible list here. Contact me with questions.
