Up for auction is my 1976 MGB with New top - Newer tires and the rare and highly sought after overdrivetransmission. The wire wheels look great and sets this car apart from most you see out there. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. Mechanicallythe car runsgreat. The car was recently serviced - oil change, new oil filter, new air filters. The car sounds great with a recent muffler and tail pipe replaced. The car starts right up. The brakes and clutchpeddles are firm. The front brake pads andcaliperswhere replaced about a year or so ago.The car shifts up / down through all the gears . The only thing I would do if keeping the car is possibly replace the front shocks. Yes the car has the rare factory overdrive transmission and works as it should in both 3rd and 4th gears. Electrically there are no signs of the dreaded Lucas electrical Gremlin on thiscar. The following items are in proper working order: headlights ( high & low beam) wor, ipers work, ront & rearturn signals work, ront & rear running lights work, rake lights work, icense plate lights work, ash gauge lights work, dash warninglights work. Gauges:All gauges are correct and original "Smith" brand. The interior is of driver quality as shown inthe photos. The carpet is weak but don't fret as the car comes with a complete high grade carpet kit with easy to follow installation instructions. The exterior the car looksgreat but still driver quality and should not be considered a "show" car.The carsitsnicely on the ground with no leaning, agging or any signs of the dreadedMGB "Leaning"issues. As seen all body panels, ood, runk, heel arches, og legsanddoors are straight. The high dollar wire wheels looks awesome! The underbody, rame and inner sills / rocker panelslooks very good but at some point the floors where replaced ( common on these cars and just about any car that's 39 years old ). Note: I don't have any photos of the underbody at this time but I'll see about getting some and posting then to the auction The soft topis brand new and was professionally fitted and installed last month. The trunk is solid. The car has a spare tire andwire wheel.
