So- here's the story as explained to me: The owner of the car got the car from her father. He was into MG's and restored the car in the not too distant past, ave it to his daughter and subsequently passed away. The daughter and her husband drove the car sparingly and discovered that it needed a new clutch. Husband starts the procedure of removing various engine parts to facilitate the engine/trans removal and then realizes that he is in over his head- he doesn't have the room, he time, he tools or the desire to complete the job. He likes motorcycles and muscle cars way better and would like this car out of his garage and a new toy in it. He and the daughter do not want to spend any more money on the car. The good news is that husband made sure that all relevant parts and fasteners are with the car, nd in good shape. The car doesn't have a speck of rust on it and is in extremely good, riginal condition. The convertible top is in decent, omplete shape.:Engine is in the car, ith the following items removed: Radiator, xhaust manifold, arbs. A review of the Ebay listings for these cars will give an indication of their worth, nce completed. At 6' 4" I'm a tad too much for this car, nd I've got too many other, ncompleted projects. I believe the mileage to be about 80K but will confirm, s the car is presently at our shop.
