With many of the classic European Imports taking center stage in the collectible hobby, any domestic buyers get confused on segregating the hot or very desirable models we find in the market place. Below is a brief paragraph to define which series and model MGB's that should be on any serious MGB Collectors radar. A brief review of the MGB's history provides an easy answer to what is considered the "best" MGB to buy: The cars from model years 1966 and 1967 get that accolade. They still carried the classic body style, ighlighted by shiny bumpers and a pretty grille. Under the hood, he engine had been converted to a very reliable five-main-bearing design that produced nearly 100 horsepower at the flywheel. Inside, he seats were upholstered in leather, ith lovely contrasting piping, nd the dashboard was adorned with black crackle-finish paint and toggle switches, voking memories of fighter planes and the Battle of Britain. In addition, he 1966 and 1967 MGB's can accommodate taller occupants than any other series of MGB's. As these MGB's progressed over the years the occupant legroom dissipated knocking taller or longer legged buyers to make other choices.
