IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GRANNY CRUISER, THIS IS NOT IT! It looks fast with the shinny black fast and Weld wheels and it is fast.
WHAT IS THE ENGINE? Its a built 5.0 out of a 1990 Mustang. That's a 302 cubic inch with a roller cam. It has a nice loping cam, big dual line Holley carburetor with Muscle Car sounding exhaust. Engine starts good,, runs strong, I hear no knock and see no blue smoke.
HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK!BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK!GAUGES WORK AND ARE IN A POD UNDER DASH!
HOW IS THE PAINT? It is very shinny, no runs, no dents, no dings, no rust bubbles. The body of the car is very straight when I look down the sides.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Very good upholstery on the seat, buckets are not original, but nice. Carpet looks new, dash pad good, door panels good, no head liner.
HOW IS THE CHROME? The side trim look super nice, trim around window very good, grill good, trunk inserts good, bumper are original and pitted (they really need re=chromed?
HOW IS THE GLASS? Side glass good, they roll up and down good, windshield has no crack or bulls eyes, it is dirty looking on the bottom 1 inch, back wind good.
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? No slip and a firm shift, it a C4 automatic.
HOW ARE THE BRAKES? All I can say is they are good for 4 wheel drums, disc in front with this fast car would be better. Parking brake needs parts to work!
HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? It is not power steering, but steers easy, It dives OK, but not a good as modern cars.
HOW IS THE EXHAUST? I love the sound, headers, duals with welded mufflers that are on the loud side, it defiantly has the Muscle Car sound.
HOW IS THE UNDERSIDE? Frame rails look solid, some floor patching has been done, it is not beautiful, but I see no structural problems.
NOTE: Gas tank is a well built tank, no gas sending unit, so the fuel gauges does not work? Header core is missing, as well as the metal cover, heater blower is in place.
WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303.
