Car description

1985 Mercury Capri . Condition is Used.
Mercury Capri ASC McLaren, this vehicle is 1 of 257 convertible Capri's made in 1985, It has lived in Florida since new. There is no rust, that I or mechanic could find, on this car.
Engine is the Ford 302 V8, coupled with an automatic transmission. Vehicle starts, runs well and stops.
The odometer is showing 112,400 on five figure odometer.Florida regulations state cars over 10 years old are sold mileage not warranted.
Third owner
The car had a full body respray in the last month, 3 coats color, 3 coats clear.
Vehicle is a two seater.
Both seats reupholstered at same time.
New Battery last week.
Roof in excellent condition, it's Florida and sunny, so hardly used.
This vehicle is incredibly rare, I have never seen another one, either on the road or at the numerous car shows I regularly attend.
Extra bits and pieces.
Bonnet scoop painted same color as car included.( Not fitted comes with car.)
2 brake calipers (not needed just spares)
Brake fluid reservoir (new) (not required just spare)
Used window regulator and new motor for the passenger side of the car. (Need fitting)
Original radio and speakers included. ( Sony radio fitted in car)
Pull down motor for roof Tonneauc cover.(Used plus original motor.)
New cowl grill (spare)
There are no rear seats, it was removed to enable the roof to have a fold into space, the back seat is really a hard bench with 2 storage boxes. But there is one side of a seat belt coming out of storage box and another belt coming out of the other box, I don't think a normal person could use this belt its very short and no cushion to sit on, so your guess is as good as mine.
Enjoy the photos.
