**** I started this listing on Monday the 16th. Today is the 18th. I charged the battery as I had spare time to hook up some lines on carb. I squirted some oil down each cylinder and turned the engine over a few dozen times with no spark. I put spark to it and primed the carb. I turned the key and engine fired on the first tap. The fuel tank is out of car. There is no knocking or valve noise at all. I started it several times and I am satisfied that is in good mechanical condition. Only noise was from a bad exhaust gasket between head and exhaust manifold. I assume that is why there is a new set in the car. Also tank was taken out for cleaning and they were planning to use the new electric fuel pump that's in the box along with the new tank sending unit that is also in the box. Thank you. This was purchased from a storage locker by me a few weeks ago and when I pulled it out I realized it was a sedan that had been chopped with the back doors body worked with the door handles shaved along with rear doors. I couldn't see the entire car as it was covered with all kinds of junk and furniture and it was dark inside and my 66 year old eyes deceived me. The guy I bought it from was not totally honest about car. I was on flat tires and couldn't move it to get into trunk to inspect which parts were there. I want to sell it to someone who needs this for parts or finish it as I am not a fabricator and don't have the time or skill to finish it. I don't know what type of plan they had to complete the chop and fit the windows in. My only guess is that they were going to put custom cut glass on side windows. It is a rust free all around and I was going to primer it but decided not to as I wanted to show it as is so you may see that it is rust free and not just primed over to hide it. Trunk and floor is in very good rust free condition as is under rear quarter panels front fenders bottom. I am now 66 and this is just too much work for me. Body is fairly straight and was done by someone that had "some" experience but still needs work in some areas. Someone started to led fill seam on roof but it is not complete. Back glass does not fit and will need more modification of sheet metal. Right rear tail light has a piece missing. Front glass is cracked as is most of side glass. Front and back wind wings are good condition. Fuel tank was taken out when I purchased it and was in trunk along with a new sending unit. hold down straps. and new electric fuel pump. Also there are new battery hold down with cage top. Fuel pressure control. The alternator has a receipt for $295. The dummy used bondo around head light rings. makes it very hard to change a lamp! I have not tried to fire engine but it does turn free and is not frozen up and has a new wires. There are just too many things to hook up to motor for me to risk my back. The dash is good and not hacked up and looks like it is complete. This is a power steering car and has "Power Steering" in the center of steering wheel. Power steering pump is under hood also but is not hooked up. There are just to many trim parts to go through and all trim holes on body have been tacked closed so I don't know where they go. So if you need a parts car this has many good parts that are not that easy to find at a cheap price. Bumpers are very straight but should be re-plated. Hub caps are cheap three bar spinners. This has "I believe" original 15 inch steel wheels that are smooth center. I bought a set for my 63 Galaxy and paid over $500 for a set. Has original ignition and keys. So with all that said let the pictures tell the rest of the story. I will answer any questions you have "so please ask". This car is being sold as is where is as a " parts car" and is non running and I don't know every part this car needs to run. I don't know if mileage shown is correct. I wont sell any parts . its all or nothing at this time. I covered it up because it will be a light rain tonight Monday so I wont be able to send anymore pictures Thanks Greg. Semper Fi. 775-343-2376
