1950 Mercury - Chopped Kustom Leadsled Sedan

Up for auction at NO RESERVE is my 1950 Mercury Project. I purchased this car 6 yrs ago from Colorado. It had been stored inside for may years and is in amazingly good condition. Perfect front clip that is uncut & not modified, solid & straight doors, perfect uncut deck lid, Solid floors & trunk with zero rust out. The lower rear quarters have some small rust spots in the front doglegs and the rockers have a little but thats all. I am including a new set of reproduction rocker panels for both sides. The top has been professionally chopped 5" & the rear roof section laid down to give it a sleek fastback look. It retains the original 1 piece rear glass & trim. The driver side roof & doors are done - pass side needs the door tops welded and jam completed. The deck filler also needs finished. I have the original seats front & back, door panels, glass, dash, trim, etc - everything is there. It has the original flathead V8 - turns over but is not currently running (carb is off). Car rolls & steers, tires hold air - original '50 Merc wheels & caps. Also included is the original visor, a nice DeSoto Grille & gravel pan, '64 T-Bird wraparound back seat plus a partial donor roof for extra pieces. Car is located 10 miles south of Independence KS 67301.
Car is sold AS IS - Buyer responsible for transportation. I can assist with loading and can bolt doors back on for transport. $500 Deposit due within 72 hrs of sale end - balance due at pick up or within 7 days - whichever comes first. Clear title & Bill of Sale will be provided.
