- 1969 Mercury Cougar, Time flies. I've had this 7 years and still not back on the road. I purchased from a mechanic who had just replaced everything in the front end. a receipt for magnaflow exaust out the back. I drove it home 13 hrs 7 years ago. 351w/FMX 350 rear. loves 85 mph. Cougar is loosing its home.(601-519-9600) I cant store it anymore. I wouldn't advise not driving it home. I just put a new battery in and took it for a spin. 50 year old motor hasn't been touched according to everyone who's looked at it. other than it had a new holley when I got it. you can put in a headliner and a top and have a pretty good driver.
