Original owner living in Northridge California. I was told a Dentist who collected a few of the Mercury Comet Station Wagons. From his Estate a mechanic purchased the vehicle in 2015 last registered by the Dentist in 1977. A Southern California car with Original Black license plates. The natural patina of this car is throughout, original interior in nice condition, original dashboard, radio, air conditioner as shown, new tires, new headliner included, rubber seals included for windows, starts up every time, engine runs great, everyday drive right now. The transmission was changed out to a 3 speed from a mustang from the original two speed along with a new driveline. My understanding from the mechanic who sold this car to me this summer (2019) that it is rare to find this car as not many survived and if they did not in this original condition. At the time the Villager was the upgraded family station wagon with 76 cubic feet of load space.I am selling this car as I have too many cars and no room for it.
