1954 Mercury Monterey Custom, Gorgeous

What a beautiful Mercury Monterey, talk about your serious eye candy! It is rare that you get an opportunity to buy a custom 50s cruiser no expense spared build show winner like this baby. This cool Merc was updated in 2011 into this gorgeous 60's style custom by Jimmy Benitez at Coastal Auto Restoration & Performance. She has taken home plenty of hardware lately at notable car shows from 2012 to 2015 including the Grand National Show "Best in Class" in 2013 and has spent time on a TV show in 2017. Now it's your turn to enjoy her as the owner is downsizing his life.

The paint on this beauty is breath taking and the custom work was a no-expense approach that is evident everywhere including the trunk, the interior and the engine. The body was also lowered and nosed and decked. The interior wasn't overlooked in the restoration process either and sports a new headliner and classic "tuck and roll" leather upholstery. The engine is beautifully dressed and wiring is hidden in the fenders and firewall.The engine, theMerc-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission are rebuilt but numbers matching to the car. Front disc brakes were added for safety. Thunderbird wire wheels with Coker vintage-style whitewall tires add to complete the vintage look.
This car is beautiful but even better is that she is all sorted our mechanically and is ready for cruise night or weekend shows for you to enjoy. Just recently a few grand was spent on adding power steering to make cruising this beauty that much easier. All of her chrome and stainless have been done perfectly so you have nothing to do but to share the bling with others.
