1957 mercury monterey 2-door hard top. power steering power brakes automatic transmission duel exhaust i have a set of new old stock 14" x 60" cruiser skirts with the chrome mouldings to go with the car but they need painted and installed. the body is very solid, the only rust i can find is a small spot on the bottom of the drivers side rocker panel. the inner and outer rocker panels are good as is the floors fenders trunk body and frame. the car has been a southern car untill 2018 when i purchased it in flordia and shipped it to ohio. the interior is nice, no worn spots rips or tears, just needs a good cleaning. it may have been remay have been reupholestered at some point. the front and rear windshields are nice passanger side door glass has a crack, the vent windows have some bubbling around the outer edges. the passanger side front fender needs attention it was creased at the top and repaired by a novice bodyman, it needs to be hammered and dollied and corrected by a good bodyman it is located level with the headlight and cant be seen in pictures. when i was installing new brake system on the car i had the wheels off and looking up at the inside of the fender you can see the crease, the fender is solid. some of the chrome mouldings on the car have a few screws in them and should have a moulding clip instead of a screw. the paint is fair. the gas guage does not work, most likely the sending unit. the car was converted to floor shift, can be put back to original push button drive with a new cable. car was converted to a altinator instead of the original generator. the tires are nice, car runs and drives and is a nice looking car at 10' a new paint job and some tlc and you will have a very nice classy mercury.the tires that are shown in the pictures have been replaced with low milage steel belted radial whitewall tires from the bias ply that was on the car for a better ride and safety.
