Car description |
---|
This is a very clean, un-chopped mild custom. All moldings and body is factory, nothing modified on the body. This car as it has been in California since the late 70's. I am the third owner and the following has been done to the car.
- LS based 5.3/4L60E out of a 2004 Suburban with 65k on the drivetrain. 500miles since the swap
- New 2.5' dual exhaust with flowmasters
- New complete wiring job (American Autowire Highway 22 kit)
- Dakota Digital Analog VHX gause panel that reads the ECM through the OBD-II port
- Vintage Air A/C, heat, and defrost
- Front disc brakes conversion on factory IFS
- Ford 9" rear with drums
- Aluminum radiator with electric fan
- New Coker white walls with Lincoln Premier hubcaps
- 49 Lincoln steering wheel
- Custom blend navy blue paint
- Newer interior
- Newport electric windshield wipers
- New hard fuel lines, Poly tank, intank fuel pump
- Power front windows
- New stereo with Bluetooth pairing
The paint, chrome, and bright work was done by the previous owner and are still beautiful but not perfect as I am not afraid to drive my cars. This is a car you could drive almost anywhere as I drove it to the Pleasanton Goodguys show last year without a hitch. I consider this a modernized, period correct looking car that gets plenty of attention. Feel free to call me at 949-294-9067 todiscuss the vehicle. The body was taken off the frame and the frame waspowder coated.Theonly rust I have found is asmall area in the trunk. See pic.
