Car description

For sale is a one-of-a kind full custom street rod that is in need of some restoration. Years ago this car began with a nice $15,000 original convertible. An additional $75,000 was spent on a full professional build. To restore it, it will need some body and paint, general tinkering, and some partial mechanical re-assembly. Most parts are included to complete the restoration and they are top quality. It is a performance carwith alowered "Pro-Street" theme. The engine is a rare and valuable early Corvette 427 big block modified with performance goodies. Built Turbo-400 trans with B&M shifter. The fuel cell and battery are trunk mounted. It features a narrowed 9" rear with 4:11 Detroit locker gears. The body has a chopped top with Hartz cloth, everything shaved, custom cowl, hidden hinges, molded in fenders, pancakedhood, radius trunk, frenched in lights and license plate, shark-tooth grill, door poppers, power front windows, custom integral bumper skirts, etc. The interior is leather and includes custom gauges and tilt steering column. The chassis features top quality components including Art Morrison rear ladder bars with panhard bar, coil-over shocks, Wilwood disc brakes, and fender well tubs. The front clip includes Fat Man components with tubular A-arms, coil over shocks, disc brakes, and power Mustang 11 rack and pinion steering. The frame has been customized with an inner sub-frame and cross bracing. This is a quick machine and will light up the 15" wide tires for a fun ride. The seller recommends that the buyer inspect and review details prior to bidding. Among other work, the all steel body will require some minor repair and filler replacement prior to re-paint. The front chassis section will require detail and paint. The engine accessories and exhaust will need installation.
