Thank you for looking at our 1972 Cougar Convertible. This car has 7K miles exceeded and a 351 V8 engine with automatic, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, CD with radio, and a good working power top. There are extremely nice wheels on this car and its very solid. We had the car serviced when we bought it and spent about $600 making sure everything on this car was in good condition and the car was safe to be driven. The tires, brakes and exhaust are all good. It has louder mufflers on the car, as seen in the pictures. So it's kind of fun with the top down. The underneath of the vehicle, as seen in the pictures is very solid. Not perfect, but very solid.
The body on this car was painted probably 10 years ago, and doesn't look much different than the day it was painted. For 46 years old, the interior looks fantastic. The convertible top could be original, but it's not bad. It looks okay. The bumpers show well. Everything on this vehicle works. We'd also like to mention the engine and trunk compartment are both in really nice condition. The air conditioning probably could use a charge, because we didn't have an R12 to put in the system and some buyers prefer the R12 over the newer R34 coolant. So we decided not to do anything. This is really a nice driving convertible. You feel very comfortable in the seat. It steers easily, stops correctly, and would definitely be a nice classic car to get ice cream, take to car shows or just to take for a cruise on a hot night.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS!
