1964 Mercury Comet Caliente Convertible -- Numbers Matching -- Rare!!!

For sale is a rare "numbers matching" 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente Convertible. It has the original 260 4. 3L V8 engine with the original 2-speed transmission. It is free of any leaks or defects. The car runs and drives great. The color is white with red interior. The exterior is in great shape with no visible signs of wear. and no rust. The interior has been recently been redone and is in excellent shape. I have owned the car for 8 years. and to my knowledge. I am only the third owner. In the 8 years. all I have done is added disc brakes. electronic distributor. replaced the carburetor. replaced the intake gasket. and replaced the interior. The car has bucket seats with power steering and power top. There were only a few Comets made in 1964 with bucket seats. and with the Caliente option it has the power steering and power top.
