1965 Mercury park lane convertible project. I bought a rust free frame from desert valley auto in Phoenix az and had it shipped here to ny (that cost me over 3 thousand alone)Fitted it to the car with new poly mounts and new bolts (3 yrs ago)Put in a rebuilt 390 4v engine and c6 trans (same as it came with) from an unfinished 65 t-bird project I bought from my Neighbour. Comes with the original engine and trans if you want it. Has a new aluminum radiator fitted and a new alternator not fitted. New rear disc brake kit fitted. ront brakes not done (disc conversion kits are available on e bay) The body is very solid with good panel fit. doors close well with no sag. Has a small dent by rear DS tail light. mainly surface rust. Floors are solid. rears were patched yrs ago but look ugly and should be replaced. Rear wheel openings were enlarged to fit the AmericanRacing 17x9 wheels on the car now. They need to be finished or you could go back to stock with repair arches if you wanted to. The car will start up and drive on your trailer but needs a lot of little things finished off to complete the car properly. however most of the hard and costly work is already done.
