1956 Mercury Montclair Hardtop Collector Classic Car!

Up for auction is a very nice, 1956 Mercury Montclair two door hardtop collector classic car. This was originally a California car that now has a clear Wisconsin title.

Until recently, this car was stored in a heated garage for approximately the last 17 years. We pulled it out and had to do a little work to get it back on the road. This included rebuilding the carburetor, replacing the fuel pump and installing a new gas tank. We also did the brakes which included new wheel cylinders, hoses and shoes.

Drivetrain is a 312 cu. in. V-8 with an automatic transmission. The car also has factory power steering.This carruns and drives excellent.

Body on this car is very solid. Paint is older but still very presentable. All the chrome and stainless trim is there and in very good condition. Undercarriage of this car isalso very clean.

Interior is in excellent condition-seats, headliner, carpet, etc all are very good with no rips or tears. Everything on this car(lights, gauges, clock, etc.)works like it should except the factory AM radio.There is an aftermarket AM/FM radio in the glove compartment which works.
