Car description |
---|
You are looking at a restored 1967 Mercury Marquis 2-Door Hard Top. The Mercury is running the 410-cubic inch 330hp marauder engine with a four barrel. Transmission is a C6 with a nine-inch rear end. The Mercury has power front disc brakes and power steering. No AC. New points, plugs, condenser and battery. The carburetor has been rebuilt. Fresh oil and filter and air filter.
This is a very beautiful car in all ways. Its all-black interior and lime green paint offset each other nicely. It appears to never have had any body damage. There is no rust anywhere. It has had one repaint since new, but the original color was retained and an excellent professional paint job.
Brand new 235/75/15 tires. All the glass is original has one star in the windshield that has been repaired. Has new vinyl roof, new headliner, all new upholstery seats, and all new rugs. The upholstery was redone to look as exactly like the original as it could; it looks very nice. All the side moldings are in excellent shape. The bumper is in excellent condition and has no pitting anywhere.
The wiring is in excellent shape, all the lights work as they should. All the gauges work. Factory radio works and it has the factory 8-track tape player. The trunk has been restored with the factory carpet and spare. All the windows roll up and down nicely. The remote mirrors all work.
This Mercury looks like it came off the show room floor. I bought this car from my neighbor, who just passed away. It was in his estate auction. I had seen the car on and off for many years. He always kept it in a nice building, never outside. He just used it once in a while for car shows; it was his pride and joy. The Mercury rolls down the road really nice, really smooth. All the drive train feels really solid; it doesn't make any noises, and doesn't smoke. You don't see many of these types of cars on the road, which makes it rare. This car is going for a nice low reserve, so have fun bidding and thanks for looking at the auction. Please call for more details: Jack at (208) 888-1240, (208) 870-7266 (Meridian, ID—US Mountain Standard Time).
