One very very nice '69 Cougar convertible! New top (that works perfectly - up and down), new seat covers and new carpet - all top quality and all professionally installed. Original M-code 351" Windsor that runs STRONG! It does smoke a little bit on the first start up, but clears out quickly. A couple of the lifters are a bit "lazy" to pump up and sometimes rattle for a little bit. Has a brand new Holley carb (choke isn't hooked up, so it's just a bit cold natured, but it warms up, idles and takes gas fine. Has new mufflers and - they sound great! The front end has been completely rebuilt, including a new power steering slave cylinder; the power steering pump does drip a drop or two, but - no major issues. Cougar has new springs in the rear and new shocks on all four corners - rides / handles great. The body is very straight and solid - it had a cheap repaint some time back, but still looks darn good from a few feet! In spite of some minor dents & dings being painted over, this Cougar is still VERY presentable! The door hinges are a bit tired and do have a little play, so lifting up slightly when closing the doors is a nice "option" - vs. slamming them! The driver's window could use a slight adjustment; all glass good! The paint and interior colors are factory correct; this IS an A/C ca, but it's not hooked up right now. Clean / clear Texas title - the license plates are not included. No disappointments here - just a strong, good looking and fun driver!
