Straight out of Nevada is this Custom 1949 Mercury Monterey Lead Sled. The build on this Merc started out with a rust free Nevada car, and every inch of this Lead Slead has received star treatment. Under the hood sits a GM 350ci V8 connected to a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine is dressed with lots of chrome, and all of the sheet metal under the hood is custom hand built. There has been many hours of body modification done to this Mercury and it looks amazing. The top is chopped 6 inches, and the body is channeled 3 inches on a custom chassis. The interior is all custom done by Bob Devine, a Good Guys Show Winner. The ride in this Mercury is like you are on a cloud, and you can drop it down on the ground or lift it up to ride height with air ride suspension.
