Car description

Here is a very nice all original, rust free Cyclone GT. This came out of North Alabama and was in long term storage inside in a cellar. I can not find hardly any rust on it except surface rust underneath and some surface rust on the floorboards where the carpet is bad. All the frame rails and everything else under the car are solid. On the drivers side there is one pin hole about 1/4" just to the left of where the cables go through the floor. It appears to be original paint with the possible exception of part of the passengers door. I say that because although the paint all matches there is a section that has some cracking and there is no cracking anywhere else on the car. If you want to keep it all original than it could be driven as is but if you want to upgrade it then I would suggest the following;
1. New headliner, Maybe $1002. New carpet. About $150-220 on eBay3. Reattach rear view mirror.4. Replace the windshield which has a crack in it. NOS one on eBay now is $3195. The brakes have been rebuilt but the pedal is spongy. It has everything new on the back drums and on the front has new calipers and pads. Needs rotors turned or replaced.6. It starts and runs fine so it can be put on a car hauler. It does have old gas and could use a tuneup.7. It has a power steering leak from down by the hoses on the bottom.
Overall these are very inexpensive items to fix if you want it brought to a nice restored level. The body has its fair share of scrapes and dings I tried to show in the pictures. It appears to have the numbers matching motor according to the metal tag on the engine showing a 1968 302. Exhaust appears original also. Tires are old and I would not trust them at highway speed. I rebuilt the original radiator, put a new battery in it, put some gas in it, new plugs and wires and some carburetor cleaner and it fired right up. It is a factory air car but the fan does not work and I doubt it would blow cold without work being done.
I'm trying to be as honest as possible with my description of the car so there will be no disappointments. I have perfect feedback and like to keep it that way. If you can work on cars yourself then you will have this on the road in no time and have a great original classic that will be solid for years to come.
