1964 Mercury Monterey 4 door breezeway with custom flip front end. I bought this as a project car, got most of the work done, and just don't have time to finish it. The body is beautiful, very straight, paint shines excellent. Have receipts from the previous owner who had the paint and body work done in the early 80s totaling nearly $10,000. It also has a custom tilt front end utilizing all the stock body panels. Interior is completely redone and all stock except for the floor shifter/console. Has new black headliner and carpet, front seat is recovered, rear seat I believe is original in nice shape. Power rear window works nice. Brakes are 4 wheel disk, 70s fullsize Ford on front, Versailles rear. Drivetrain consists of a fresh 460 with D0VE heads, dual plane intake, 780 Holley, stock distributor with MSD 6 box, cam is hydraulic with about 235ish duration at .050", Crites ceramic coated headers, 3000 stall converter, fresh c6 with shift kit, backed by an American overdrive unit (similar to Gearvendors OD), aluminum driveshaft, and Versailles 9" rear end with 4.11 gears, locker, and Strange axles. Also has new 2-1/2" exhaust from headers and turned down at the bumpers with 3 chamber Flowmasters. The car does run and move under its own power, but will need some finish work before I would feel comfortable driving it anywhere. It will need an alignment, the overdrive needs to be hooked up (just a matter of wiring), power steering should be hooked up, some general detailing, and the power hydraulics for the front end should be hooked up as well. A lot of work has gone into this car, both from myself and the previous owner who originally built it, and I'm sure I left out some details. Feel free to call me with any questions or to see it in person at 313-820-3500.
