LOW RESERVE! ULTIMATE SURFER WOODY WAGON!!!!
Last year of the 1950's hardtop station wagons and widely viewed as the best looking of the Mercury models, this original California car has actually spent the younger part of its life at a Catholic parish rectory having been donated to the nuns by the original owner! Now it is worthy of being shown at the Peterson Museum or driving anywhere or both! All original options include P/S, P/B, P/W, A/C, PDL, AM/FM and all systems working including cigarette lighter (unused and new as can be-car never seen cigarette smoke-ashtray spotless see pics) and clock but A/C needs to be charged with your choice off R-12 (original)or R-134a (for conversion)since new A/C compressor was installed.
Wagon is well represented with a Utube video courtesy of Dennis Cage at his "My Classic Car" website. Go to:
my classic car dot com/episode/18/
Once you are on episode 18 (2014 Episode), select first icon "Episode 1-Cruise Morrow Bay". BEFORE YOU CLICK THE PLAY BUTTON, move the blue high-lighted icon on the right of your screen from "EPISODE 1-PREVIEW" two tabs down to "EPISODE 1-FULL EPISODE". The 5 minute video hosted by Mr. Cage plays roughly 2/3 through the episode.
I would never buy a car off Ebay unless I had the opportunity to look at it beforehand. You should at least have a car inspection so I welcome you to see the car first hand here in Paso Robles, CA most anytime during the 7 day auction. At the same time I would not mis-represent or overstate the condition of anything I sell so rely on my reputation and feedback here on this forum.Only selling this because I'm aging and want to pass this to a worthyMercury lover like myself. Ask any question here or call me, Matt, at 714 851-1106. Please leave a message if I fail to answer as I work two jobs. I reserve the right to end this auction early as the car is advertised elsewhere also.
Should car sell here at auction, a $1000 deposit is due within 24 hours via Paypal with full payment due within 7 days. Can store car for short duration.
Good Luck!
