Car description

I have a 1972 Mercury Marquis Brougham 4 door pillared hardtop. It was a one family owned car with 46k original miles. The black and red is unusual in the era of greens, browns and yellows. This Mercury looks and operates like a two or three year old car, not four and half decades. It is completely turn key driveable and needs nothing. Everything works. The interior is as immaculate in person as the pictures suggest. The only flaw is a 1" long split in the right rear armrest area. The exterior does have some dings here and there in the trim. The trunk has some hail dings and the rear valance under the back bumper is sratched. Though it may look perfect from just a few feet away under close scrutiny there are flaws and blemishes. Under the hood its as nice as any unrestored car I've ever seen. I've done nothing to the engine compartment to make it prettier or harm the integrity of the car. It even has the original radiator hoses. The trunk is even nicer and looks barely used. The car is absolutely amazing. It attracts comments and attention wherever it goes. The very young think it awesome because of the immense proportions. The older crowd love it because either they or their parents has a similar giant late 60s / 70s car. I just took the wife, daughter & parents out for mothers day in it. No one was crowded. It's a great car to use sparingly, take to a cruise nite or a car show. I'm sure I'm forgetting some details so please feel free to call or even text if that's your thing. Some people always want know... why are you selling? Well, the wife has some medical issues that make it necessary to get rid of few cars. 573-230-6222. Thanks for looking.
