1958 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, 52000 orig miles,

This car has been in the dry climate of western Kansas since new and have very little rust. I am the third owner and it has 52000 original miles on it. The only rust is in the lower front fenders. I had the seats out and put new original-fit carpet in it and took some pictures of the floor pan. It is solid! NO rust. No rust under or in the trunk. Engine is The Marauder and it says 360 hp on the valve covers. It runs good and strong with no strange noises and no smoke. Transmission shifts like it should. I serviced the brakes and replaced all wheel brake cylinders and it stops good. Equipped with power steering and power brakes. No power widows or seat. The front seat has some wear on both sides and there is a small, 1" by1" rip in the headliner. Door-sides are perfect. The paint is original, and I do not see anywherethe bodyhas been damaged and repaired. Back window is electric and works fine. It comes with the original owners manual and a 1958 Mercury promotional book. Both in excellent condition. It is equipped with steel cruiser skirts, the hubcaps are Lincoln and tires are 90%. I need to mention that there is holes in the floor behind the wheels in the trunk. The previous owner told me that they live in the country and the road to the house is gravel and it blasted the holes while driving on it every day. I looked them over and, yes, it is not rust! I glued some metal over them until the next owner can weld 2 pieces in. Its all flat metal.
