1968 Mercury Montego mx

here we have a 1968 montego mx 390 big block. it was originally gold on gold with a vinyl top the car is in decent shape for its age with only some rust in the front floors and the lower quarters everything else seems solid. torque boxes are mint and no rot in the trunk or rear frame rails. I bought it as a project but it doesn't seem I will be getting to it any time soon. the 390 starts and runs good it needs a full exhaust because it has a old set of hooker headers that are rotted at the collectors and the rest of the exhaust was removed.the trans does go into gear and I move it around the yard. it has a new gas tank. I have a clear Georgia title that I got with the car when I bought it. this would be a nice big block coupe to do up either as an original or take it to a protouring level. the car is sold as is where is. do not bid if you can not pick the car up within 14 days or make other arrangements with me. I have the door panels and they are in good shape. ask any questions if needed. this is a y code car factory 390 but was originally a 2 barrel now a 4 barrel. has factory 9 inch rear not 8 inch
