1939 Mercury 4-Door Sedan Suicide Doors Custom Lead Sled V8 Flathead Project

Hello,this listing is for my 1939 Mercury Eight 4-door sedan as-shown. I do not have a title for this car,Ebay requires that I fill in the title section so that is why it says clear title,I do not have any title for this vehicle. This car was bought at a storage lien sale and the previous owner is deceased. It is a pain to get a new title in IL unless you do a bonded title,but is easier in other states,so please check to make sure you are willing to deal with not having a title BEFORE you bid.This car is complete except for the engine and transmission. As far as I can tell,everything else is there. This is a good car to restore,turn into a street,or heaven forbid...part out. My wife fell in love with it,and I was saving to fix up for her,but we can not get to it for at least another year and I hate to see it sit outside. We can always find another one.The body does have some rust down low as-seen in the pictures. It is very straight except for the trunk lid which has a large dent in it. The floors are still in great shape. Some rust in the trunk pan. The frame is in great shape. It does have some hard to find parts on it,like the clock,super deluxe heater,hubcaps,grill,etc. All of which are in good shape. Interior is all there,the door panels are all in the trunk. I do not know what happened to the engine or transmission. There are 3 or so boxes full of parts that go with the car,several new parts in those boxes from Dennis Carpenter. I do have the starter,air cleaner,etc. I believe most of the glass is still good. I honestly think the car is worth repairing and saving,I just don`t want to see it sit outside all winter.Please look at the pictures carefully and ask ANY questions first!!! Car is located in Mokena,IL right off of I-80,about 30 minutes from the IL/IN border. I want it payed for within 1-week,and at the very least a $60.00 deposit through paypal within 48-hours.
