1968 Mercury Cougar XR7

This is a true 'J' code 302 cougar XR7. It has lots of good options, ower disc brakes, ower steering, actory A/C, ull console and the very rare tilt away steering wheel. This car is very complete. The engine has been disassembled to replace the timing chain and never put back together. All the parts for the engine are in the floor boards or in the trunk except the a/c condenser. The timing cover, ll pulleys, orrect fan, ompressor, lternator and brackets are all there. The oil in still clearly visible in the pan. It looks to have the original 4 barrel carb still on it and the air cleaner is also in the trunk. Even the radiator is there. Check out both front and rear valances, hey are near perfect. I bought this car from a guy who had it stashed in a cargo container waiting to restore it someday. He since found something else to get involved in so I purchased it for parts. When I started looking closer at it, realized it was way to complete to just strip down for parts. This would make a great car to convert a nice standard cougar to a well equipped XR7. Please note, he right front wheel shown on the car is not included in this auction. I have the correct original wheel and hubcap that goes with the car, t only holds air for a short while, ut will be put back on the car when picked up. Sorry for any confusion.
