Merc, lead sled, restoration project, hot rod, custom

This is a 1951 Mercury and is being sold as is. I originally got this car to customize for myself but have too many projects. It will be too long before I can get to it so I would rather sell it and see something done with it. It has not beenstarted for about 18 months or so. When I parked it, tran and drove. I wanted to replace the wiring in it before driving due to the cloth wrapped wire being so old. It comes with a new dash wiring harness which cost $500.00. This is still a 6 volt car,which has never been converted. This Mercury is very solidwould be a great car for restoration or to customize. There are some rust holes around the wheels but they are not awful and the passenger side doors have some dentsand rocker (see pics). I will respond to any questions to the best of my knowledge and if I can't, will try to get an answer for you. Ihave more pics and am happy to take additional pics and email them if there are other areas of the car you would like to see. I am not sure of actual mileage.

If the winning bidder wants the car shipped, it will have to be picked up on a rollback and taken somewhere to be loaded on a shipping trunk. There is no way to get an 18 wheeler to pick it up at my location. I am willing to discuss other options but wanted to make that known to everyone.
