1968 Mercury Cougar Base 5.0L 302Cu. (XR7 Conversion Ready, All Parts Included)

I bought the car 4 1/2 years ago from the previous owner in Winston-Salem, C who'd had the car 15 years. His intent had been to convert the base model Cougar to the XR7, nd had assembled all the necessary parts, hich I now have. I have parts, arts and more parts. Boxes of parts, ll included with the car. Wiring harnesses, ash components, xterior parts, nterior parts, rim parts, ngine parts, ven an original disc brake conversion assembly. Too much to list. See pics.As the interior pic(s) will show, had removed the seats, anels, onsole and dashboard, ut my restoration plans got sidetracked. I put brand new Yokahama's and mag wheels on the car and parked it, irtually no miles on the tread.Brand new battery installed today, /1/2015.Runs strong, araged, itle in hand. Previous owner had the chrome redone.Happy to answer all questions best I can. Many pics/video available upon request. Car is located in Unionville, C, bout 15 minutes east of Charlotte. Before I pulled out the seats and other interior components, used to drive it locally. Suspension could be upgrade for purpose of comfort, nd I would caution that it still has drum brakes. The dashboard will need to be reinstalled to operate the headlights for night driving. Otherwise the engine and transmission are strong. I recently cleaned the carburetor jets, he car has sat parked for a couple years, nly run occassionally, o I'd also recommend running through some fuel system cleaner.

"Does the car have a tilt steering column?" Hi, ood question. No, he column is fixed.

"Is loading all those parts parts parts into the car for shipping included in the cost?" Hi, es, 'll be happy to securely load boxes and parts inside the car and trunk spaces. That said, ot everything will fit. For instance, wo extra front seats, nd four tires on the original rims will remain outside the car, long with anything else I cannot fit inside without damaging. Please just ensure that your transporter knows that. Thanks.
