1971 Rare Mercedes 600 with sunroof, true California car. Sold at W.I. Simonson Inc. in Santa Monica CA in 1970. The car is 172 g anthracite with black leather according to the data card. FULL SERVICE RECORDS in a binder. Originally owned by Jerome Frick at the Mikado Hotel in North Hollywood, alifornia for many years. Jerry serviced the car at Northridge imports along with his other 600's. Service records indicate a properly maintained 600.

The car has been repainted the original color and is excellent; all body panels are dent free and rust free since it was a California car. Body panels are laser straight as shown in pics. The interior is overall excellent; wood has been refinished and is overall excellent with just a bit of wood cracking on the left side of dash. Interior leather is excellent, eat covers and front springs have been replaced. minor wear on driver seat. Dash pad, nstrument cluster are all excellent. Chrome is good to excellent; bumpers are excellent, s shown minor sun fading on door handles, ut over all very good. Radio works, un roof works, /c blows ice cold. Car does not have thermos or shot glasses. Has jack and hydraulic kit, arpets are excellent. Rear curtains are excellent, lass is excellent. Engine bay is clean.

Drivability is excellent, ransmission is excellent, rakes do not pull, o vibration, mooth acceleration. Car does not smoke on start up. Very minor oil leaks which are typical, ir suspension valves have been replaced as well as air bellows and are excellent. Car stays up for 3 weeks with out dropping. Hydraulics are excellent, ir brake system is excellent. Furthermore the car has brass block hydraulics which was the best for this model. Suspension is excellent with many parts replaced during the years and it has a replaced stainless steel exhaust.

The car is an excellent driver, t does show its age but has been properly maintained. It is not a show or restored concourse car by any means.
