1982 Mercedes 300TDT Turbo Diesel Wagon.

"Ivory" on Palomino interior

California car, ow mileage, mmaculate Condition

This beautiful 300TD is arguably one of the nicest wagons you will find. It is rust free and looks great from every angle. The body is very straight... no dents and the Ivory paint is exceptional. All of the exterior trim, uch as the chrome bumpers, hrome grille, indow trim, eadlight doors, tc are excellent. Even the window seals, indow brushes, umper mouldings, tc are all in like new condition. The chrome rims show well, owever upon close inspection some minor pitting is visible. The Palomino interior is immaculate. The seats, eadliner, tc are flawless. The interior wood trim is brilliant and glossy. The original dash is very nice, he only flaws are a small (1 or 2") hairline crack (see photo) by the windshield and a couple even smaller cracks. The original carpet was starting to show some UV damage; I am very picky and decided I wanted it perfect so I went ahead and replaced all of the carpeting including the trunk. I did not skimp on this and used the original German wool loop carpet. It was costly, ut a decision I do not regret. As you will see in the photos, he carpet is amazing.

Mechanically, his wagon is solid. At only 160K miles, he engine is just breaking in...This wagon is an absolute joy to drive, t runs and drives beautifully. It has plenty of power and the transmission shifts sure, imely and proper. The motor, hassis and engine compartment are exceptionally clean. It starts right up and does not smoke excessively or run rough even when cold. The engine has been really well maintained and it shows. It was recently serviced and prepared for summer. The AC system was serviced and charged (and blows cold!) The brake pads and rear rotors were replaced. All the filters including both fuel filters were replaced. New Bilstein shocks all around. Rear Axles were replaced in the last 10,000 miles. The tires are still have plenty of tread.
