1994 Mercedes Benz C220The car has been very reliable, conomical and solid. No major mechanical or electrical problems. No major accidents. Never towed. Clear title. All original equipment and well maintained. Here are the details:Automatic transmission, WD, cylinder, .2 liter, 40,000 milesInspected Pennsylvania recently.The car was driven round-trip from Pennsylvania to Florida recently without problem.The engine runs strong and fuel economy is around 22 to 25 mpg.The air conditioning blows cold and heating is good.The tilt sunroof, lectric windows, lectric mirrors and electric seat are working well.The interior is in good shape, ot perfect but very good.The wheel rotors, rake pads and wheel bearings were renewed around 120,000 miles and the wheel bearings were reset and re-greased recently at inspection..The radio system needs repair or renew. The speakers are weathered, specially the top ones.The cd changer iis not working, ttempting to load but failing. The antenna does not retract.The transmission shifts fine, ever abused and always well maintained. The accelerator pedal and manual downshift works fine.The cruise control worked great until about five years ago, ailing intermittently for a year - refusing to hold speed - then not working at all. Apparently the cruise control amplifier is a common maintenance item, vailable on ebay, art number 0035450932, round 35.00. I haven't gotten around to fixing.There is a large dent on the right front fender and a small dent at the left rear fender under the light.The paint has scrapes, ings, iscolor and a few spots of rust. The regular maintenance includes frequent engine oil and filter changes each 6000 miles on average, new plugs, ngine belt, elt tensioner, elt idler wheel and bearing, dler shock, ater pump, adiator and heater hoses, uxiliary water pump, eservoir cap, hermostat, ower steering oil and filter, ransmission oil and filter, nterior air filter, ngine air filter, an clutch, rake system flush, oolant flush with MB antifreeze.
