Super clean. I am the third owner. Original owner was from Florida. she put 63. 23 miles on it. In her elder years. she left in in the garage for a majority of the time. Second owner is from Houston and they purchased it on 10/24/2011. And proceeded to put just under 40k miles on it. According to the Mr. Smith. they had a condo downtown and he drove it on a short commute to his downtown office. And he and his wife would drive it New Orleans on weekends to stay at their vacation home. It was during one of these trips to New Orleans in which I saw the car. admired its condition. and just randomly approached his wife and inquired if they were willing to sell it. And low and behold. they did. So I bought it on the spot; however. I did not ask my wife . oops . So now I am on here trying to sell it. It really is a GREAT car. I want to keep it. It needs an a/c compressor. You can get an OEM Bosch compressor on eBay. but the tricky part is finding a very good mechanic who is intimately familiar with these old German cars. Ideally. your mechanic will be old and he or she worked on them back in the 70s and 80s. And make sure you interview your mechanic to ensure they know what they are doing. an want to put a new compressor in and keep it. nbsp;but. again. my wife wants me to sell it. I strongly recommend not going to a MB dealership to get it repaired. Anyway. it is good car and good deal. So buy it. It is a win-win. You are happy. and my wife is happy.
