This 500 SEL is was imported to the US when it was new (in the US these were called "gray-market" cars in the 80s). The enginesize and power far exceed the US models and are uniquely equipped (see the photo of the VIN build list). The car has a factory limited sliprear end, factory fire extinguisher, really cool (varyrare) factory velour fabric interior, factory curtains on the rear window, factory tool kit, and more. The previous owner installed a really expensive performance exhaustsystem on the car - it sounds amazing, but might need to be tuned to your taste.

The rear window is fogging a bit in one lower corner (see photo). Youshould also expect to do minor tinkering with details and adjustments due to normal wear and aging.
