1986 mercedes-benz 500SE Sedan V8 4-Matic Loaded

Mercedes-Benz 500-Series. This is a 1986 500SE with only 80,500 miles on it. Runs like a Kenyan. Starts, drives, handles like new. A/C has been converted to R134, and will blow you out of the car. Car was purchased new in Europe while owner was stationed in Germany with U.S. State Department. He imported the car in the early 90's, sold it to his adult nephew, who never used the car. It subsequently sat for several years, before I purchased it from him. I have replaced the valve cover gaskets, fuel pumps, fuel accumulator, performed fresh oil change (Nine quarts!!), plugs, wires, distributor and rotor. No damage history--accident-free. Car is tight; it uses or loses no fluids. All systems work as intended. The 5 liter V8, coupled with the two-stage 4-Matic automatic transmission (sport and economy mode) is the iconic Merc drivetrain. Tires are premium Michelins, with less than 600 miles on them.
