This Mercedes-Benz replica is a Heritage Motor Cars component automobile which utilizes a General Motor’s Camaro front subframe, suspension, steering, braking system, drivetrainand various of other GM accessories were all new parts. The front stub frame is integrated into a main frame design and built by Heritage Motor Cars. A subframe is mounted to the mainframe which surrounds the passenger compartment the windshield post and framed are a part of the subframe.
The suspension install was high performance suspension rather than the standard GM parts to provide a better response and control. The front and rear suspension, steering and brakes were all installed with new parts. (springs, ball joints, brake rotors, drums and wheel cylinders, tie rods, idle arms, shocks etc.)
For this build, The 350 V8 engine with 4 barrel carburetor and attached components as well as the automatic transmission were completely rebuilt. The car utilizes a walker dual exhaust system, again of a standard Camaro configuration. The original radiator supplied by Heritage Motor Cars was replaced within the first two months with a five-core high-efficiency cooling radiator which allows the motor to run at a more consistent even temperature especially in parades where the engine is idling for long periods of time.
The body is made of reinforced fiberglass with a gel coat finish. the thickness and quality of the fiberglass is evident.all the chrome trim and accessories except for the wire wheels are stainless steel. No chrome peeling or pitting on this vehicle.
Equipment includes Air Conditioning, power steering and brakes, AM/FM stereo radio and cassette player, Stainless steel bumpers, grill and exterior trim, Cruise control and tilt steering wheel. Power windows and door locks. Full size trunk. Self-Sealing convertible top and several additional exclusive features.
This vehicle was built by the legendary Heritage Motor Cars incorporated of Miami Florida. Heritage Motor Cars was a manufacturer of specialty automobiles now the defunct.
This vehicle has been on Museum display and is in Museum Condition. The Metal, Trim, Paint, Glass and Upholstery is Mint and has no blemishes. The paint is glossy and the body has no defects. The car drives excellent and handles like a modern car should. The car is mechanical sound and the engine compartment has no fluid leaks. The tires are the proper size and match. A clean title history,assigned identification number (CM00383) by Iowa Department of Transportation. Currently has clean Louisiana title issued in 1996 to the second and current owner. The vehicle is title as 1991 Kit, 2D, color Black. All maintenance are up to date.

Introduced at the 1936 Paris Motor Show, The Mercedes-Benz 540K (W29) is a car built by Mercedes-Benz from 1936 to 1940. Tthe Friedrich Geiger designed car was a development of the 500K, itself a development of the SSK. Available as a both a two- and four-seat cabriolet, four seater coupé or seven seater limousine (with armoured sides and armoured glass), it was one of the largest cars of its time. 5,401 cc straight-8 Engine. Production of the 500K was 342 cars. The world record price for a 540K Special Roadster is $11,770,000, achieved by Gooding & Company at Pebble Beach in 2012 for the legendary 1936 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster of Baroness Gisela von Krieger of Prussia
