1969 Mercedes Benz 250 Sedan (W114)
M114 inline six engine
Four speed automatic
87,100 miles with all records since new, including the original owner's metal ID card. This car was ordered by an architect and passed on to his son, spending most of its life in Texas before coming to California. In 1969 all USA spec W114 sedans had the early european style bumpers, large iconic Mercedes steering wheel, and the slim shifter design.
Starts immediately hot or cold and the four speed automatic shifts crisply without any harsh kicks. M114 inline six gas engine pulls up to highway speeds and can cruise at 80mph on a California Summer day without overheating. Suspension is smooth without being floaty, does not clunk or pull in either direction. Brakes are firm and have no issues stopping repeatedly. All four windows wind up and down and all five door handle/lock mechanisms function as they should. Hood release cable and parking brake are operational. Heater, blower fan, and all vent adjustments are operational. Becker radio works with AUX input through original dash mounted speaker. Headlight switch, indicators, low beams, high beams, and wipers are operational.
